RiVR - NBS Induction VR "Game" Experience

NBS required an interactive "game" experience as part of their induction process. We were tasked with creating a short experience that would take new employees through the history of the company in a fun and informative manner. This included interactive elements in each room.

For this I was responsible for creating a modular kit, decals, tileable materials and foliage that could be used to quickly create an environment, the majority of my work was in the opening areas.

I was tasked with getting client branding in place and some intial ideas of the development of the space but ultimately following the client's needs for the areas. They requested an airport style waiting room that would be used to help their employees familiarise themselves with movement and control in VR, a tutorial level. They then went on to a curved hallway that would demonstrate the history of the company, an interactive quiz room that involved shooting balls into the correct hole and an area that showcased dioramas of the company's branching sectors.

Scaling the scene. The client brief was quite straight forward which made blocking the scene easy, but this helped us ensure scaling was right so the space felt correct in VR.
